The newest addition to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2, overwhelmed my senses with plot twists at every turn. There was a new spectrum of never-before-seen characters that added a new taste to the otherwise small Cullen clan. Newly transformed Bella and her and Edward’s half-vampire, half-human baby Renesmee were two new additions that kept viewers on the edges of their seats.
This was the final movie of Twilight, and it was the best yet. I was entertained throughout the whole movie and amazed at the character development of the new cast. The actor who played Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy, did a fantastic job playing the abnormal child that started a “war.” She impressed me for playing such a challenging role at such a young age.
The last 30 or so minutes were the most interesting, and my attention was definitely captured. I read all three books and already had a good idea of what was going to happen, but then the film took me by surprise. I won’t reveal what happens, but I was almost in tears because of the sudden plot change. It was not what I would have expected and I kept thinking: this did not happen in the book.
Breaking Dawn Part 2 was a perfect way to end the series and the acting was better than all the other movies combined. I can’t wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch it over and over again. I am sad it ended, but I’m hopeful for what author Stephanie Myer has in store for the future.
