Grab your tote bags, put on those sunglasses and get ready because spring equals sunshine, flowers are blooming and trees are regaining their natural green vibrancy. Most importantly, spring means the farmers are hoeing it out to grow crops for market season. Local markets are a very important aspect when promoting and supporting local agriculture, fresh local produce and lowering toxic chemicals and pollution released in our community due to pesticides, people who do not recycle or compost, and littering, which, by the way, is illegal.
